The LED stair lights are made of durable aluminium and acrylic, making them highly anti-rust and anti-corrosion. These step lights can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications, such as stairways or pathways. When used outdoors, it is recommended to seal the stairway lights with caulk for better waterproof performance.

This motion sensor stairway light offers three selectable color temperatures – 3000K warm white, 4000K cool white, and 6000K daylight. You can choose the suitable color temperature to set the indoor step lights and fit your desired ambiance. However, the color temperature needs to be set before installation.

The stair lights have a dimming capacity ranging from 5% to 100% (in ON mode only). This outdoor step light provides a cozy and warm glow, which can illuminate each tread without glare. Each set includes a dimmer for adjusting the brightness.

The step lights feature an integrated motion and photocell sensor. At night, when motion is detected, the staircase lights will turn on for 30 seconds and then shut off. During the day, the motion sensor indoor lights will not turn on, even when motion is detected, saving you money and energy (in AUTO mode only). If you choose ON mode, the step lights for outside will always be turned on.

The black stair lights outdoor work on 120V line voltage, which is compatible with standard junction boxes. There is no transformer required for the motion sensor stair lights. You can connect the wires directly to your home without worrying about the problem of transformer overload and taillights not turning on caused by transformer power and voltage drop.

As for the installation, if the width of the same step is over 3 meters, the step lights can be installed at both ends of the same step. The distance between two step lights on the same side of all steps is recommended to be over 0.5 meters. If the width of the steps is less than 3 meters, step lights can still be installed at both ends at the same time.

When installing, rotate the position to install the step lights on the left side of the first step, then install the step lights on the right side of the second step. All the step lights on the same side of the step need to be more than 1 meter apart.
