The dimmer switch is compatible with 120V AC single pole/3-way installations and features a fine-tune adjustment dial to eliminate LED/CFL flickering. No screws are needed to fasten the wall plate, allowing it to blend perfectly into the wall.

The dimmer is compatible with CFL/LED/Incandescent light fixtures and is fully compatible with the Cloudy Bay Lighting family, including Cloudy Bay flush mount ceiling lights. However, it is not compatible with smart lights controlled by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or Zigbee.

The Cloudy Bay dimmer improves the compatibility of dimmable CFLs and LEDs compared to standard dimmers by eliminating flicker and ensuring proper operation at all levels. Most dimmable LEDs and CFLs may not achieve as low a level as incandescent or halogen sources, so fine-tuning with the adjustment dial is recommended.

For single pole installations, connect the green dimmer ground wire to the ground wire in the wall-box, the black dimmer wire to the hot input wire, and either of the two red dimmer wires to the light fixture wire. For 3-way installations, connect the green dimmer ground wire to the ground wire, the black dimmer wire to the TAG wire, and the red dimmer wires to the remaining wires.

If you experience issues such as light flashing in the whole dimming range or only in the low dimming range, check the compatibility of the lighting/lamp, ensure the fixtures are compatible with the dimmer, and try adjusting the dial for optimal performance. It is also recommended to use the dimmer with lights/lamps of the same type or model to avoid compatibility issues.

The Cloudy Bay dimmer is available in single, 2, and 10-pack options, with a 600W max for incandescent and 150W max for dimmable LED/CFL. It is UL listed and comes with a 1-year warranty. Please contact us if you have any issues with the dimming performance.
